Are you dreaming of a week of immersion in knitting, pleasant conversations and authentic experiences in a beautiful French village? Join us on a very special knitting holiday, where you will be invited inside by Karina, who has settled in idyllic France and is happy to share her life and her passion for knitting with you.

What you get

Knitting & creative inspiration – Enjoy long, relaxing days of knitting where we share ideas and passion for yarn and craft. Regardless of whether you are a beginner or an experienced knitter, there is room for reflection and pleasant socializing with other participants who enjoy knitting. There will be no teaching.
Sightseeing & local experiences – We go on excursions to nearby villages, markets and beautiful natural areas, where you get a unique insight into life in this part of France.
Homely coziness & wonderful meals – The stay takes place in the hostess's charming home, where the atmosphere is relaxed, and there is time for good conversations over home-cooked meals with local ingredients.
French lifestyle & everyday life – Get an authentic insight into what it's like to live in a French village, far from the tourist streams, where the days go by with a calm rythm of markets, café visits and time to enjoy life.

Practical information

Duration: 1 week
Price: 970 eur. for a single room
Deposit 335 eur to make a reservation.
If you are prevented in participating you will loose the deposit unless you find another participant.
Included: Transport to and from the railway station Thiviers, single room, meals except for lunch when we are on excursions*, knitting kit, excursions
Where: a small authentic village in the south west of France
The trip is not included . The easiest way is to fly to Bordeaux and take a train from Bordeaux to Thiviers, the closest town, 15 min drive to the village

*Lunch on excursion days are at your own expense

A little about me:
I was born and raised in Denmark, but have had my life and everyday life in France for many years. Here I enjoy the freedom, nature and the good French foods.

Out here in the countryside I can live my dream life with my lovely husband and family within reach. I am fascinated by the French culture, nature and language and I am often inspired by the surroundings in my creative work.

Not a day goes by without having something in hand, new projects and ideas. I have been knitting for as long as I can remember and in recent years I have found a new love for knitting design and yarn dyeing with plants. I also like to paint and sew.

I find great joy in having guests and sharing an authentic insight into village life in France, where culture and everyday life merge in a cozy and inspiring atmosphere. I hope that one day you will want to visit and explore beautiful, old villages, French traditions, delicious food and wine and knit with me.
